ARRIVAL FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT

By rail :

Non stop trains between Fiumicino and Roma Termini Station are very frequent.

Leonardo Express train makes no mid-journey stops

Route time: 35 minutes

Tickets can be purchased at vending machines located in the airport arrival hall and at the railway station. Train schedules are posted inside railway stations.

By taxi:

We strongly advise that you use licensed taxis with meters. The fares of the licensed public taxis from Fiumicino to Rome is about 40 Euro flat rate, surcharge fees are applied for baggage, night runs, Sundays and holidays. Therefore don't be surprised if the bill is considerably more than the fare shown on the meter.

By bus:

Terravision Shuttle:

Provides transfers between Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station, the bus stop is located at National and International arrivals at the airport and at outside Termini Station in via Marsala 22.

A ticket costs 9,00 Euro one way and 15,00 Euro round trip.

 

Schiaffini Travel Shuttle:

Provides transfers between Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station, the bus stop is located at National and International arrivals at the airport and at outside Termini Station via Marsala

across from Hotel Royal Santina.

Tickets must be bought on the bus and cost 8,00 Euro.

Night service COTRAL:

From Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station, every day at 1:15am, 2:15am, 3:30am and 5am.

The bus stop is located outside the arrivals halls of the national and international terminals.

The tickets costs 5 Euro and can be purchased on the bus.

ARRIVAL FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT

By bus: TERRAVISION SHUTTLE

Terravision shuttle:

Provides direct transfers between Roma Ciampino Airport to Roma Termini Station. This service is often in connection with Ryanair and Easy-Jet flights. 

Ticket costs  8,00 Euro one way and 13,50 Euro round trip

Tickets can be purchased at Ciampino airport (in front of arrivals hall) or at the Royal Santina Hotel at Termini station (Via Marsala 22).

By bus and sub-way:AFFIN

There is a bus service that provides transfers between Roma Ciampino airport  to Roma Anagnina (Metro A) subway station. Tickets cost 1 Euro and the Bus stop is located at the Airport Arrivals Area and the bus leaves every 40 minutes, from 7:20am to 22:40pm. From Anagnina you can take the Metro (Line A) to Termini and tickets cost 1 Euro. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE METRO CLOSES AT 9 PM.

The bus station and automatic ticket machines are close to the arrival and departure terminal.

Therefore don't be surprised if the bill is considerably more than the fare shown on the meter. The ride takes about 20 minutes.

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN ROME

Buying a ticket – metrebus (http://www.atac.roma.it/):

The integrated ticket “Metrebus” gives you the freedom of using all public transports within the metropolitan area of Rome, excluding the direct rail link Termini- Fiumicino Airport, the special tourist service. Tickets must be bought before boarding on the underground, at authorized vendors (newsagent, tobacconist) and automatic ticket machines, a ticket costs 1,00 Euro and is valid for 75 minutes after it has been stamped.

An Integrated ticket all day (B.I.G.) costs 4,00 Euro and is valid 24h after it has been stamped for an unlimited amount of travel within Rome.

Integrated tourist ticket cost 11,00 Euro (Ticket B.T.I.) valid for 3 days from the date indicated by the customer and for an unlimited amount of travel.

Integrated Weekly tickets (C.I.S.) cost 16,00 Euro valid for seven days from the date indicated by the customer, for a limitless number of travels in the territory of Rome.

Remainder: Metro A closes at 9:00pm, Metro B closes at 11:30pm.

Termini station is the meeting point between Metro a and Metro B; linked to Metro A (for connection to Metro Anagnina) as well as to Metro B.
