We have implemented an on-line payment system via credit card (Visa and MasterCard ONLY). See below.

(*) NOTE: In order to be able to welcome colleagues and young researchers from less advantaged backgrounds, we have reserved a venue that enable us to lower the registration fees for academics and professionals to 295,00 Euro, also by reducing the costs associated to other services.
In the absence of sources of financing, other than European Funds for the So.Re.Com. Thematic Network (with all the constraints this entails), this has been a difficult decision to make, but reducing the fees for everyone seemed to be the most democratic solution.
To further facilitate and reduce the costs of payment, we have taken on the charge and the costs of implementing an on-line payment system (by sub-contracting an enterprise and signing an agreement with a banking circuit).

Dear Participants in the 8^th Internationl Conference on Social Representations,

We are happy to announce that a credit card payment system is now in place to enable you to pay for your registration to the 8^th International Conference on Social Representations on-line.

This system is equipped with 3 levels of security to ensure the safety of your payment, and you have been assigned a specific and unique username and password to re-enter the system and pay for your registration. The same username and password will serve for uploading your full paper and presentation, so please save them as you will need them soon.

We kindly inform you that the deadline for registration payment had been further postponed to the 5^th of March 2006 and thanks to the extra facility of the on-line payment system, paying for your registration will take no more than five minutes.

All participants, interested in having their contributions integrated in the Proceedings of the 8th ICSR 2006, must have paid by that date.

We will be obliged, to be able to guarantee all the following phases of the organization of the event, to be very strict on this point, withdrawing the participants who have not paid on time from the Scientific Programme.

We also remind you that we have no facilities to allow people to pay on-site.

Once you have entered, a window will appear with your name and surname, your professional role and your role in the conference. Click on “8thICSR on –line registration payment” to proceed.

The second window will show your name and surname, your professional role, your role in the conference, your e-mail address and your registration fee. To proceed with payment, click on the button “Proceed with Payment”.

A third window will appear with your payment options:

YOU CAN PAY WITH VISA OR MASTERCARD. To select a credit card, click on the logo.

The fourth window will state the order number, the amount and the currency. Here you can insert your credit card details, accept the conditions of the data protection act, and click on OK to validate payment.

The next screen will confirm that you have payed for the conference.

Do not forget to print this document and to bring it to the conference to present it at the registration desk.

Once you have printed the confirmation you can click on OK and you will see a message saying: “Registration payment done, thank you”.

Further to this, you will receive an email confirming the transaction for your records.
