Presentation Types
The contributions can be presented choosing one of the following five options: S. Symposia: A symposium will consist of a set of contributions. The symposia will be preferable focused on theoretical issues relevant for the theme of the conference. The organizer of the proposed symposium will select the participants and will submit the proposal including the summary of the symposium, the names, the affiliation and the abstract of each contributor, using exclusively the abstract submission form integrated in the registration procedure and following the Submission Guidelines. TDG. Thematic Discussion Groups: TDG will consist of a set of contributions. The TDG will be based preferable on completed research relevant for the theme of the conference. The organizer of the proposed TDG will select the participants and will submit the proposal including the summary of the TDG, the names, the affiliation and the abstract of each contributor, using exclusively the abstract submission form integrated in the registration procedure and following the Submission Guidelines. RT. Round Tables: The round table will consist of a set of contributions around critical issues relevant for the development of the Theory and Research on Social Representations. The organizer of the proposed Round Table will select the participants and will submit the proposal including the summary of the RT, the names, the affiliation and the abstract of each contributor, using exclusively the abstract submission form integrated in the registration procedure and following the Submission Guidelines. PIS. Poster Interactive Sessions: The poster interactive sessions will consist of individual contribution, that each participant will submit using the specific abstract form integrated in the registration procedure following the Submission Guidelines. The ICSR Scientific Committee may group the contributions of similar themes in the same Poster Interactive Session. FC. Free Contributions: Individual free contributions, related to the general theme or the various sub-themes of the conference, should be submitted using the specific abstract form integrated in the registration procedure following the Submission Guidelines. The ICSR Scientific Committee may group the contributions of similar themes in the same session or may decide that a group of Free Contributions will be selected to form a Symposium, a Thematic Discussion Group or a Round Table. NO MORE THAN ONE ABSTRACT FORM FOR EACH AUTHOR (as first author) WILL BE ACCEPTED. All participants, interested in having their contributions integrated in the Proceedings of the 8th ICSR 2006, must be registered by 15th January 2006. For each of the above five presentation types (S, TDG, RT, PIS, FC), if the proposed contribution will be accepted and the participant regularly registered by 15th January 2006, the author will also submit the full text of his/her individual contribution, prepared according to the Norms for Submission of Papers, uploading the file via the 8thICSR web site by 31st March 2006. Each participant will also upload the file of his/her power point presentation - via the 8thICSR web site - in advance the conference by 31st May 2006.
