The start date is formally 1 October 2004, although the contract was sent duly signed back to University of Rome La Sapienza only at the end of January 2005. Moreover it was important for the implementation of the contract to assure the substantial co-funding of La Sapienza University and to verify the co-funding of all the participant Institution through the staff cost declaration. However its preparatory phase which already started in 2003 with the pre-proposal and in 2004 with the full pro-proposal, has continued in order to be ready to realise the planned activities .
