The European/International Joint PhD in S.R. & C. Alumni network, launched in 2010, is aimed at:
- contributing to the promotion of the European/International Joint Ph.D. programme around the globe, both in academia and professional world, acting as mentors
- promoting their active support in the recruitment of prospective research trainees
- maintaining and strenghtening relationships with former European/International Joint Ph.D. research trainees, Marie Curie fellows, participants in the International Summer Schools and Lab Meetings, SoReCom THEmatic NETwork members and friends
- keeping in touch with each other and the European/International Joint Ph.D. programme's initiatives
- developing joint co-operative research programmes and fundraising actions
- organising a wide range of professional, scientific, social events and networking activities, also open to currently enrolled European/International Joint Ph.D. research trainees and staff
- serving as contacts for career advice for European/International Joint Ph.D. graduates
