- Grants for international mobility funded by the Italian Ministry for University and Research (MURST-MIUR)
- For non-EU eligible participants, other grants for participation fees for the International Summer Schools have been provided by the Italian Ministry MURST within the Internationalization Program (2000-2004)
- Grants for international mobility enlarged to the research trainees also belonging to the Vinci network will be funded by the Italian Ministry "MIUR" in case of approval of the new application presented under the third call of Internationalisation Program (2004-2006)
- Grants for international mobility and tuition fees for a selected number of eligible candidates have been funded by:
- Italian-French University:Vinci Program 2002 (for some of the eligible French or Italian Ph.D. candidates)
- Fellowships for candidates from Germany are available for a selected number of successful applicants via the Vigoni programme.
