European Ph.D on Social Representations and Communication
Background

The European Doctorate on Social Representations and Communication is a well-established, EU-approved training structure which since 1996 has been successfully training post-graduates from EU and non-EU countries.

It is an International doctorate requiring a Ph.D. dissertation (3-year minimum) and involves a network of 13 EU universities supplying advanced research training in the area of social representations and communication.

The European Ph.D. came into being as a natural outgrowth of a pre-existing community of researchers all working with the Laboratoire Européen de Psychologie Sociale (LEPS-M.S.H.), and with similar research goals and epistemological interests. This common historical background greatly contributes to the complementary nature of the European Ph.D.'s research interests and the training skills that have been developed since its foundation.
